Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid and can be found in dairy products, meats, fish, eggs, nuts, beans, oats and wheat. Tyrosine is the precursor of the stress hormones adrenaline and nor-adrenaline, which are responsible for the body’s ‘fight or flight’ reaction.
